ILCO PHOS 203 is mainly used as a wetting agent with defoaming ability in alkaline cleaning agents and in surface treatment for the printing and coating industry. Furthermore it is known as a dispersing agent in pigment pastes. In metall pigment pastes the ester acts as corrosion inhibitor. ILCO PHOS 203 is used in extraction and flotation agents
The product is soluble in organic solvents. When the ester is neutralized, it is emulsifiable in water.
