Isopropylate
Syn-O-Ad™ products are available in the most widdly used viscosities and phosphorus contents. The antiwear properties are typical of other isopropylphenyl phosphate additives. These products can be substituted in existing formulations which use isopropylphenyl phosphates.
New testing according to the HPV chemicals rules resulted in a tratogenic effects, so they have to be labeled as R 62/63.
An alternative product is Syn-O-Ad 8499, which has been de-classified due to new test results.
